ClearRecord is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
We never access, collect, or transmit your audio recordings. They remain securely stored on your device or your personal iCloud account.
Information We Collect
Analytics Data
We collect anonymous, aggregated analytics data to improve our app:
- App usage patterns (features used, session duration)
- Device type and operating system version
- Crash reports and performance data
- General geographic region (country-level only)
This data is collected anonymously and cannot identify individual users.
What We Do NOT Collect
- ❌ Audio recordings or voice data
- ❌ Transcriptions or content of recordings
- ❌ Personal identification information
- ❌ Contact information or address books
Data Storage
Local Storage
All audio recordings are stored locally on your device's storage. We do not have access to these files.
iCloud Sync (Pro)
If you enable iCloud backup, your recordings sync to your personal iCloud account. This is handled entirely by Apple's infrastructure—we never see your data.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Delete your recordings at any time through the app
- Disable analytics collection in your device settings
- Request information about data we may have
